Key Features of our Straight Stairlifts
Folding
The straight Stannah chairs can be easily folded up when not in use. The footplate is linked to the seat cushion.
Easy use control
The stairlift directional control can be easily operated with finger tip or side of hand.
Easy use seatbelt
This can be operated with one hand, and there is the option of an immobilizer feature to insure it is applied before moving.
Immobilizer key
Prevents lift being used by young children etc
Slimline Rails
The straight lift rails are slim in profile and available in silver or bronze colours.
Remote Controls
The stairlift can be operated remotely from top or bottom of stairs, or can be lifted out if necessary.
Optional Extras
2 way powered swivel
The chair turns automatically away from the top or bottom of the stairs if the user holds the directional control in that direction.
Retractable Rail
If there is a door opening close to the first step, or an open hall, a folding rail section can be fitted to avoid causing a tripping hazard. This operates automatically when the chair travels in either direction.
Outdoor Lift
For external straight flights of steps. The lift is fully tested to operate in all weather conditions, it comes with a protective cover.
Powered footplate
Curved Stannah models have a footplate lever as standard. If the user would prefer to have an automated version, a powered footplate can be fitted that is operated by a button on front of the armrest.
